Shakira is preparing new music amid the success of her "Women No Longer Cry" tour.

Shakira is once again trending worldwide. The Barranquilla-born artist announced that she's already working on new music, while preparing for what promises to be a series of unforgettable concerts in Colombia as part of her successful "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour." The "Ojos Así" singer shared several images from the recording studio on social media, accompanied by the phrase "Cooking here... get ready for new music," igniting excitement among her fans.

This new album arrives at a peak moment in her career, as her world tour has sold out in countries across the Americas and Europe. Although details about the sound or collaborations that might accompany her on this musical project are still unknown, expectations are high, especially after the impact of her most recent album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women No Longer Cry).
Expected return to Colombia It's worth remembering that Shakira will be back in Colombia with three highly anticipated dates: October 25 and 26 in Cali, at the Pascual Guerrero Stadium, and November 1 in Bogotá, at Vive Claro Distrito Cultural. This will be the second leg of the tour in her home country, following previous performances in Barranquilla, Medellín, and Bogotá during the first quarter of 2025.
The excitement is particularly strong in the capital of Valle del Cauca, where the artist hadn't performed for two decades. In Bogotá, the new date comes in response to high demand from her fans in the capital, who sold out her previous show at El Campín Stadium.

During this tour, Shakira has dazzled not only with her energy on stage, but also with the surprises she's shared with her audience. In Medellín, for example, Maluma and Carlos Vives took the stage, creating memorable moments for the audience.
However, not everything was smooth sailing. The originally scheduled performance in Medellín on February 24th had to be canceled due to technical issues related to the stage setup. According to a statement issued by the production company, Páramo, the roof suffered damage, jeopardizing the safety of Shakira, her crew, and the audience. The singer finally performed in the city on April 12th and 13th, delivering a show that exceeded expectations.

The tour has taken the artist to multiple cities in Central America and the United States. Her initially tight schedule was adjusted to include 15 new dates in Mexico between August and September in response to high demand. But there was still one more thing left to accomplish: closing out her time in the Americas with another visit to her homeland.

“Women No Longer Cry: I'm Here” is the name of this second Latin American tour. The title pays homage to her early days, especially to the song “Estoy Aquí,” which launched the Barranquilla-born singer to international stardom in the 1990s.
The artist expressed that she couldn't leave for Europe and Asia without first reconnecting with her Latin American audience: "The demand exceeded everything we imagined, and we had no way to add more dates because the schedule had already been set for a long time. But now I've made that space, that gap between the United States and Europe-Asia, to experience this celebratory and farewell tour with my Latin American people."
With her boundless energy, her connection with the public, and a new musical journey on the way, Shakira is preparing to leave an even deeper mark on the memories of her Colombian fans. Her homecoming is, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated moments of the year for Latin American music.
